About the Opportunity
We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our team in support of the Australian CH-47F Chinook helicopter program.
The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and managing risks to ensure the helicopter remains safe, reliable, and mission-ready.
The role is based in Brisbane, Australia, alongside the Australian Army at the integrated Cargo Helicopter Management Unit (CHMU).
Key responsibilities include:
* Technical management of hazardous materials
* Engineering and logistics sustainment of complex materiel systems
* Communication with integrated workforces and stakeholders
* Workload organisation and priority setting
To be considered for this role, candidates must have:
* Essential qualifications and experience in system safety
* Demonstrable communication skills and ability to engage with stakeholders
* Minimum of Baseline security clearance
Desirable qualifications include knowledge of DASR Safety Management Systems, system level awareness of the CH-47 Chinook platform, and ISO 31000 Risk Management Standards.
