Job Description
* We are seeking a candidate with a proven research background and excellent educational experience in advanced aerospace systems.
* The successful applicant will lead the development of an internationally recognised aerospace engineering research program in the fields of flight mechanics, aircraft systems, fluid dynamics, unmanned aerial vehicles, or other closely related areas.
* You will also play a key role in maintaining and building strong industry partnerships, fostering collaborations that drive impactful research and innovative advancements in aerospace engineering.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* A PhD in Aerospace Engineering or related areas is required.
* Demonstrated track record in research impact in aerospace engineering, including but not limited to flight mechanics, aircraft systems, and unmanned aerial vehicles, with clear evidence research outputs and the desire and ability to continually achieve research excellence as well as the capacity for research leadership.
* A track record of significant involvement with the aerospace engineering profession and/or industry is desirable.
* Proven commitment to proactively keeping up to date with discipline knowledge and developments.
* Demonstrated experience in teaching and learning design, development and delivery of aerospace engineering programs at undergraduate and/or postgraduate level.
