Telecommunications Account Manager Role
We are seeking a skilled Account Manager to oversee business development across new and existing accounts and markets. Your responsibilities will include identifying growth opportunities, ensuring our company is considered for proposals, and contributing to the development of effective winning strategies.
You will work closely with operations groups to support future business growth and effective profitable delivery. Additionally, you will seek out new customers and explore emerging sectors to drive business expansion.
* Develop strategies and plans for new projects, including tracking potential opportunities and evaluating and prioritizing those business growth opportunities.
* Prepare and conduct presentations with prospective customers and stakeholders.
* Maintain strategic business relationships with major clients to promote brand awareness and profitable business relationships.
* Participate in industry workshops, conferences, and forums.
Key Responsibilities
* Contribute to strategy development plan for telecommunications business.
* Develop and maintain partnerships with partners (i.e., consultants and key sub-contractors).
* Interact and create opportunities with other business units within our organization.
Client Relations
* Develop and maintain strategic business relationships with new and existing clients.
* Create and implement strategies for clients based on current and anticipated customer requirements.
* Maintain open and initiative-taking communications with clients.
Governance
* Evaluate business tender documents and negotiations to ensure company interests are protected.
* Contribute to the continuous improvement of all aspects of our business development and opportunity tracking systems.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Minimum 3 years' experience within the Telecommunications or Electrical industries with a known client base.
* Experience working for a telecommunications contractor and/or telecommunications provider.
* Demonstrated experience in managing customers, developing account plans, and preparing presentations to key clients.
* Significant experience in commercial management, client management, and working with operations groups.
