This includes any ongoing or temporary, part time/full time or casual vacancies which may arise within the wider Nursing/Midwifery department. Positions may be based at our sites in Mount Gambier Hospital or at our sites in Bordertown, Kingston SE, Millicent, or Naracoorte.We are continually seeking talented individuals to join Limestone Coast Local Health Network Nursing and Midwifery team. As a Midwife, you will participate in assessing women’s needs and planning, implementing and coordinating appropriate care and service delivery. You will also provide health education, counselling and rehabilitation programs to improve the health outcomes of individual patients or groups. Consolidating your knowledge and skills, you will develop in capability through continuous professional development and experience and maintain cooperative and productive working relationships with all members of the Maternity Unit.About YouYou will be registered or eligible for registration as a Midwife or Nurse/Midwife by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and hold or be eligible to hold a current practicing certificate. With demonstrated competence in nursing/midwifery practice in accordance with the appropriate standards, you will demonstrate a commitment to providing patient and family-centred care. Your effective communication, problem solving, conflict resolution and negotiation skills will equip you to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team and prioritise workloads.About UsThe Limestone Coast Local Health Network provides a wide range of health care services to residents within the Limestone Coast region, which is situated in the southeastern part of South Australia and extending all the way to the Victorian border.
