Base pay range
A$140,913.00/yr - A$140,913.00/yr

* Base Salary $140,913 + 17% superannuation
About the opportunity

The National Centre for Cultural Competence (NCCC) at the University of Sydney offers Australians the chance to enhance their cultural competence and responsiveness, enabling them to make respectful, ethical, and impactful decisions in diverse cultural environments.
The NCCC is currently seeking a Program Manager to join their team and facilitate the smooth day-to-day operation of the Centre, as well as contribute to and guide a number of strategic initiatives. This is an exciting opportunity to join the Centre's leadership team and be part of meaningful and rewarding work.
Your key responsibilities will be to:
* collaborate with the centre's leadership and academic team to provide operational and project leadership and management
* effectively mentor and manage a team of three, providing high-level guidance and support
* lead the day-to-day operational management of the centre, support its project deliverables and academic endeavours
* ensure efficient financial management, governance and control
* manage risk and workplace health and safety for the centre
About you
* strong track record in delivering and maintaining operational programs aligned with organisational and project objectives
* demonstrated experience managing medium-scale budgets, operations, projects, and resources effectively
* proven ability to lead and motivate diverse teams, fostering a positive, high-performing and culturally aware work culture
* excellent communication, consultation and negotiation skills across internal and external stakeholders with strategic report writing skills highly regarded
* sound understanding of higher education landscapes and strategies.
