As the Supplier Governance Lead, you will be at the forefront of transforming our supplier relationships and ensuring that our partnerships deliver optimal value. You will lead the charge in crafting a robust governance framework that not only aligns with industry best practices but also propels our business forward.What the role is all aboutThis role will be pivotal in safeguarding our operations by managing supplier performance, mitigating risks and driving continuous improvement. Your responsibilities will include:Lead and implement Supplier Governance framework for Tier 1 and Tier 2 suppliers to ensure compliance, performance, and ethical business practices.Review and enhance existing supplier governance strategies and align them with industry best practices.Collaborate with Business Leads and Risk Business Partners to identify critical suppliers and develop tailored governance programs.Ensure key internal stakeholders are actively involved in governance reviews to facilitate informed decision-making and alignment across the organisation.Analyse supplier performance metrics, manage risks, and ensure mitigation actions are in place for non-compliance issues, with a strong focus on cybersecurity.Develop policies and procedures that support effective supplier oversight, including audit and escalation processes.Provide insights and recommendations for optimising supplier relationships and driving continuous improvement.Ensure governance documentation is comprehensive, up-to-date, and accessible for all relevant stakeholders.Lead training and awareness initiatives to educate internal teams on supplier governance procedures and importance.Drive collaboration with internal teams and external suppliers to align supply chain practices with our ESG targets, promoting compliance and sustainable improvements.Who we're looking forExperience in supplier governance, procurement, or vendor management, preferably with experience in a technology driven organisation.Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess supplier performance data and derive actionable insights.Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills to build effective relationships with internal and external partners.Experience in developing and implementing governance frameworks and policies.Ability to identify potential risks and develop appropriate risk mitigation strategies.Proven track record of driving process improvements and managing change in a complex environment.Enthusiastic self-starter with strong problem-solving skills and a solutions-focused approach.An interest in nurturing a culture of compliance and excellence in supplier management practices.The REA experienceThe physical, mental, emotional and financial health of our people is something we'll never stop caring about.
