Indigenous Employment Opportunities – Expression of Interest at the University of Technology Sydney (UTS). UTS is committed to supporting positive social change and overcoming Indigenous disadvantage through the Wingara Indigenous Employment Strategy.
Expression of Interest Program
Purpose of the Wingara Indigenous Employment Strategy: to ensure UTS has the Indigenous capability to achieve its strategic objective of positioning itself as a world-leading university in Indigenous education and research.
UTS has set an Indigenous employment target of three percent of its workforce.
Programme includes casual, fixed-term, part-time, full-time, and permanent opportunities across academic and non-academic disciplines (e.g., teaching, research, IT, Finance, Marketing).
Eligibility
The expression of interest is only open to Australian Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander people, pursuant to the exemption granted to UTS under s126 of the Anti-Discrimination Act (NSW). Applicants must:
Be of Australian Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander descent and identify as such.
Be accepted as such by the community in which they live and/or have lived.

Your heritage is personal, but proof of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander heritage is required before an offer of employment.
