Kinexus has partnered with the Australian Signals Directorate (ASD) to assist in sourcing experienced ICT Project Managers with existing Top Secret Positive Vetting (TSPV) security clearances for a key cloud based initative.
NOTE: An organisational suitability assessment (OSA) is required for this role.

About the Role
As a Senior Cloud Project Manager you'll be leading the delivery of complex cloud workstreams within a highly secure environment, partnering with senior internal stakeholders and other NIC/Industry partners to shape and deliver mission critical cloud capability.
* Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of TS‑level cloud program activities, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
* Develop and manage comprehensive program and project plans, including schedules, risks, and dependencies.
* Oversee one or more critical delivery streams, ensuring milestones are met efficiently and securely.
* Identify and mitigate risks and issues, developing robust contingency plans.
* Engage and communicate regularly with senior executives, sponsors, and technical teams.
* Drive agile delivery, including sprint and seasonal planning using Microsoft ADO and GovTEAMS.
* Develop and maintain detailed cloud and ATO documentation, including technical and program plans.
* Ensure compliance with Australian Government security frameworks, including ISM and PSPF.
* Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including cloud service providers and vendors.
Selection Criteria
* Experience delivering large-scale Cloud projects in the Defence or intelligence government sector with the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders.
* Professional certification or training in Project Management, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Analysis or a related field.
* Experience in leading and managing multi-disciplinary teams, delegating tasks and mentoring team members to ensure risks and issues are effectively identified and addressed.
* Experience in leading/managing at least one of the following streams; Authority to Operate or Security or Cloud Program Management.
* Comprehensive understanding of Australian government information security policies, guidelines, and standards, including ISM and PSPF.
* Experience working with Amazon Web Services (AWS) in a delivery lead role.
