Due to growth we are seeking experienced and dedicated Heavy Vehicle Fitters/Assemblers to join our team in Ormeau If you have a strong background in heavy vehicle assembly, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
* Assemble and fit heavy-duty trucks
* Install and adjust parts and components, ensuring compliance with specifications and safety standards
* Test vehicles and equipment to ensure proper functioning
* Maintain a clean and safe work environment
* Collaborate with team members to ensure timely project completion
* Adhere to all workplace health and safety protocols
Skills and Experience:
* Proven experience as a Heavy Vehicle Fitter/Assembler or in a similar mechanical role
* Strong knowledge of heavy vehicle assembly
* Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and SOP's (standard operating procedures).
* Skilled in using hand and power tools required for vehicle assembly
* Solid understanding of safety procedures and regulations in the workshop
* Ability to work independently or as part of a team
* Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
* A reliable, honest, and positive attitude—you're someone the team can count on
