Job description:

What we are looking for

As an Analyst, Process and Mining Applications you will play a hands-on role in enhancing and supporting our mining application ecosystem by ensuring functionality, security, and reliability through rigorous testing and quality assurance. You will provide expert technical support, gather and translate user feedback into continuous improvements and maintain clear documentation that empowers teams and keeps our critical application performing at their best. This role is based at our Subiaco hub in Perth.

Key Responsibilities

* Supporting, configuring and maintaining mining applications to meet business needs while ensuring accuracy, security, and reliability.
* Performing system testing, validation, and quality assurance to guarantee application performance and continuous improvement.
* Providing technical support, resolving use issues, and gathering feedback to enhance digital date services.
* Preparing and maintaining thorough documentation for all specialized mining applications.
* Actively contributing to a safe, collaborative, and high-performance team by asking questions, raising issues, offering ideas, and seeking feedback.

Capabilities

* Tertiary qualifications in Science, Engineering, IT, Business or related fields, combined with mining/resources experience and strong problem‑solving, decision‑making and continuous‑improvement capability.
* Demonstrated experience supporting mining operational systems (fleet management, production, planning, geology, processing), with the ability to configure, optimise and validate systems for performance and data quality.
* Proficiency in OEM digital mining applications such as Caterpillar MineStar (Fleet, Terrain, Command) and Epiroc platforms (LinkOA, SAMS, Surface Manager, CAP/Teleremote), including configuration, data integrity checks, reporting and vendor‑aligned support.
* Strong technical capability across troubleshooting, data analysis, APIs/interface logic, and scripting/coding (Python, PowerShell), alongside analytics tools such as Power BI for reporting, validation and continuous improvement.
* Effective collaboration, communication and applied project skills, including incident support, testing, user assistance, vendor escalation, and experience with budgeting, forecasting and change management in mining or heavy industry.
