Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more.Base pay rangeA$65.00/hr - A$70.00/hrDirect message the job poster from Alexander AppointmentsTemporary contract with a view to extendAbout the Role:We are looking for a seasoned accounting professional that has experience in the transport industry, specifically on the revenue side and with a continuous improvement mindset.Key Responsibilities:Supervise the billings function for a sizeable transport businessGeneral Ledger review and oversightRevenue analysis by customerProvide financial solutions and guidance to the businessContribute to continuous improvement initiativesReview pricing and cost models for existing and new business opportunitiesManage the onboarding process for new customers and carriersReview and report on overheads, including wages and salary allocationsOversee Profit and Loss for various business units and multi-site operationsFleet management costings and P&L reportingLead and mentor a team of Billings Clerks and AccountantsThe Ideal Candidate Will Have:Strong understanding of the transport businessCPA qualified Accountant with at least 5 years’ experienceExperience in large businesses with complex, high-volume transactional environmentsProven experience leading a teamExperience with OTM and Oracle OneCloud (preferred, but not essential)Advanced Excel skills for data analysis and reportingWhy Join Us?This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a business undergoing transformation while leveraging your accounting expertise.
