Overview
Pump Service Fitter based in Kirrawee, NSW 2232. You will be working for a global manufacturer of progressing cavity pumps and pump parts. They have a wide product range suitable for the pumping of fluids within the waste water, chemical, food, beverage, paper, mining, mineral processing, marine, agricultural and oil and gas sectors. You are a self-starter, motivated, outgoing, and take pride in your work. You have a strong team focus but can also work autonomously and use your initiative to get the job done. You are a fast learner and have good computer skills.

: 8am-4pm Monday to Friday.
Overtime
is available for those seeking extra hours and higher earnings.
What you'll be doing
You'll be joining a close-knit maintenance team based in the Southern Sydney Area. You will be surrounded by a team that have in-depth knowledge of reactive and preventative maintenance at our sites and will offer training and development to increase your overall knowledge. This full-time position requires both workshop and onsite based servicing and repairs of pumps and rotating equipment over a variety of industries.
Key duties
Pump repair and assessment
Assist with daily service activities including internal/external repairs, warranties and assessments
Testing and troubleshooting
Component restoration work
Preparing report documentation
Skills and Experience
Knowledge and experience with pressure systems, submersible stormwater and sewage pumps, would be an advantage
Experience with electric motors would also be an advantage
Strong verbal and written communication skills to streamline internal communications
Highly motivated with the ability to plan, schedule and manage time efficiently
Have the commitment to adhere to the company's Quality and WHSE policies and procedures
Be open to work overtime as required
Education/Qualifications
Trade - Fitter (electrical or mechanical)
Disconnect/Reconnect restricted electrical preferred
Confined Space ticket
Current Drivers Licence
Forklift licence (preferred)
