Council is seeking an experienced and motivated Supervisor to lead the efficient repair, maintenance and construction of a diverse range of Council plant, equipment, workshops, and infrastructure, ensuring all works are delivered to industry standards. In this hands‐on leadership role, you will guide and support the fabrication team, fostering a strong safety culture while ensuring all maintenance and repair activities are completed effectively and on schedule. You will coordinate daily work programs, provide technical expertise to the team, and take ownership of parts and stock control to ensure operations run smoothly and without delay. The successful applicant will be trade qualified and bring substantial experience in fabrication, along with a proven ability to implement and sustain effective preventative maintenance programs. You will be a confident communicator with well‐developed interpersonal skills, capable of building positive and productive relationships with external stakeholders. A strong customer focus, sound organisational ability and the capacity to manage competing priorities in a dynamic environment will be key to your success in this role.
MANDATORY:
* Minimum requirement of a current C Class driver's licence
