Job Summary:
The Operations Specialist is responsible for operational, logistical and administrative tasks in a market environment, supporting various staff members with data entry, mailing, record keeping, telephone correspondence and event support.
Key Responsibilities:
Office Management
* Receive and distribute mail bi-weekly, adhering to cash handling policy from PO Box.
* Maintain office supplies and inventory levels.
* Respond to telephone calls and general inquiries, referring complex requests to appropriate staff.
* Prepare meeting materials and provide meeting support.
* Coordinate volunteer engagement activities and ensure timely submission of donations.
Data Management
* Enter basic operational data into CRM and event management systems to support fundraising events.
* Prepare information for submission to Data Entry Center.
* Analyze reports from event management databases and provide insights to support decision-making.
Fundraising Support
* Serve as liaison between Centralized Logistics Business Partner and market events team.
* Support event planning, coordination and execution, focusing on logistical and operational needs.
* Order event supplies and manage sponsorship deliverables.
* Attend market events and serve as on-site logistics lead.
Additional Operations Support
* Assist in executing foundation policies for procurement and operational efficiencies.
* Support Executive Director in managing market budget and reviewing financial reports.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree preferred.
* Strong organizational and communication skills.
* Able to multitask and prioritize multiple responsibilities.
* Proficient in Microsoft applications and event management systems.
