About the Senior Health and Safety Advisor Role Reporting into the HSEQ Manager, the Senior Health and Safety Advisor will provide expert guidance across multiple civil construction projects. You will ensure compliance with legislation, policies, and procedures, and support site teams in driving a strong safety culture. The role is predominantly site-based role. Duties Implement and advise on HSEQ policies and procedures across multiple sites, ensuring compliance and currency with legislation. Conduct site inspections, audits, and incident investigations, providing practical solutions and recommendations. Engage with site teams, management, and external stakeholders to communicate HSEQ requirements and expectations. Review and update risk assessments, SWMS, HSEQ plans, procedures, and other documentation. Support the development and mentoring of the HSEQ team, contributing to a positive and proactive safety culture. Skills & Experience Minimum 4 years’ experience in HSEQ within civil construction or related high-risk environments. Cert IV in WHS or equivalent safety diploma. Strong understanding of civil construction processes and high-risk activities. Experience leading audits, inspections, incident investigations, and managing complex site safety issues. Ability to build strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with HSEQ systems is advantageous.
