At Stockland, we’re evolving our Funds Management and Capital Partnering platform to support continued growth and increasingly sophisticated capital arrangements. This newly created Finance Manager – Funds Finance role plays a critical part in that journey, partnering directly with the business as we mature our finance capability and set ourselves up for the future.
Finance Manager who is a true business partner someone who brings strong funds and property experience, sound technical judgement, and the confidence to operate at a high level while building trusted relationships across the business.
What You’ll Do
As part of the Funds Management & Capital Partnering Finance team, you’ll oversee the financial management of a portfolio of capital partnerships and property funds across multiple asset classes.
This role exists to provide strong commercial insight, governance and operational leadership as our funds platform continues to grow and evolve. You’ll work closely with senior stakeholders and broader Group Finance to ensure scalable, high-quality outcomes.
Key responsibilities include:
* Owning financial reporting, forecasting and performance insights for funds and capital partnerships
* Providing final approvals and technical oversight while leveraging delivery support from our TCS team
* Acting as a senior finance business partner to Funds Management, supporting investment, capital, and operational decisionsSupporting the onboarding and operationalisation of new capital partnerships
* Leading audit processes, compliance requirements and stakeholder engagement
* Driving continuous improvement across processes as the platform matures and scales
* Building strong relationships across Finance, Funds Management, Tax, Treasury and external partners
About You
You’re an experienced funds finance professional who enjoys operating close to the business. You’re motivated by judgement, influence, and stakeholder outcomes. You’re looking for a role where you can help shape a growing platform, broaden your asset class exposure, and build your internal profile within Stockland.
Experience & Skills That Count
* Proven experience in a property funds, capital partnering or funds management environment
* Background in a major property group, funds platform, outsource provider, or similar with real estate focused preferred
* CA or CPA qualified with strong accounting and financial reporting foundations
* Experience providing final review/approval and managing offshore or outsourced delivery models
* Demonstrated ability to partner effectively with senior stakeholders and investment teams
