Join our Gepps Cross Home Improvement Store, liaising directly with our customers to ensure that their products are ready for pick-up and loading on-time, every time.
This is a full-time permanent role, working across a rotating roster with weekend work.
RESPONSIBILITIES
* Greet and serving customers in our 'pick up' area, ensuring that orders are ready for collection.
* Load customer vehicles via forklift according to the safety guidelines.
* Move stock and finished goods around the store and surrounding environment safely.
* Picking, packing and scanning stock ready for pick-up.
* Liaise with other internal and external stakeholders to efficiently and effectively resolve any concerns raised by the customer.
* Assist the Retail Team with in-store duties as required.
* General housekeeping duties to ensure a tidy work environment.
* Strict adherence to critical safety rules and contributing to a safe working environment.
ABOUT YOU
* Current Forklift Licence is essential.
* Forklift experience including loading, unloading and maneuvering in various environments while following strict safety protocols.
* Previous experience within customer service highly desirable.
* Highly organised with the ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
* Customer-centric approach, with a willingness to enhance the customer experience by working with enthusiasm, energy and pace.
* Commitment to operating the forklift safety, taking care of our customers, staff and products.
