You'll have the autonomy to lead both sales and operations, working directly with diverse teams including technicians, sales professionals, and subcontractors.

What success looks like:
* Revenue and margin: Hit monthly turnover targets and maintain agreed gross profit.
* Delivery: On-time job completion with quality sign-off and zero critical defects.
* Safety: 100% WHS compliance and documented site checks.
* People: Lift team engagement and onboard new hires to full competency inside 90 days.
* Rhythm: Clean pipeline, clean schedule, clean closeout. Every week.
What you will lead
Sales
* Manage the sales pipeline from lead to won.
* Focus your sales skills on conversion, quoting discipline, and follow-ups.
* Review KPIs weekly and adjust tactics fast.
Operations
* Plan statewide schedules, resources, and subcontractors.
* Run site visits and quality checks against AS/NZS and company standards.
* Keep the job management system accurate in real time.
* Oversee fleet maintenance, equipment readiness, and compliance.
People and admin
* Recruit, onboard, and review performance with BrightHR.
* Approve timesheets, monitor payroll accuracy, and manage leave.
* Manage suppliers, purchase orders and invoicing.
* Be agile to fix issues to do with sales, delivery, safety, and cash.
You bring
* 5 plus years in operations and sales leadership, ideally in construction, painting, roofing, or trades.
* Strong people leadership and coaching skills.
* Commercial discipline with CRM, Xero, and Office 365 confidence.
* White card and full driver's licence. Working at heights is a plus.
* Australian work rights.
