We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Payroll Officer to join a market leading service business, based in Mount Waverley. This is a great opportunity to join a busy team of three in a strong collaborative environment, with a forward-thinking management team harbouring a friendly office culture.
The Role
* Fortnightly payroll processing
* Month end and year end tasks (payment summaries, payroll tax reconciliation)
* Reconcile payroll General Ledger accounts
* New hire start up
* Managing system updates
* EBA & award interpretation
* Overtime calculations
* Respond to internal payroll queries
* Liaising with key internal stakeholders
* Payment of taxes (payroll & PAYG)
About You
* 2-3 years experience in working within a high volume environment with tight deadlines
* End to end payroll processing experience (Ideally 500+ employees)
* Previous exposure to large payroll systems desirable
* Computer literate – knowledge of Microsoft Office required, proficient in Excel
* Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail
* Demonstration of strong communication skills, written and verbal
