Monash Health has created a strong, dynamic and growing Allied Health Assistant (AHA) workforce that provides clinical supervision for AHAs to facilitate growth and development of clinical and non-clinical skills. AHAs are an integral part of the multidisciplinary team at the Victorian Heart Hospital. We collaborate to ensure the best outcome for patients in our care. The AHA team works across different clinical areas providing a comprehensive range of care in the acute wards and outpatient settings under the supervision and delegation of an allied health professional. Allied Health Assistants (AHA) (Grade 2/3)
Located at the Victorian Heart Hospital this is a fantastic opportunity for either an experienced therapist or for a newly qualified AHA to work in a new hospital and play a vital role in providing care to cardiac patients.
In these roles, you will also have the excellent opportunity to:
1. Develop skills in both acute inpatients and ambulatory services
2. Provide AHA support for the evening Cardiac Rehabilitation service on a regular basis
3. Provide occasional cover at both MMC and Moorabbin Hospital with acute inpatients
4. Deliver evidence-based, patient-centred care under the delegation of an allied health professional
5. Participate in clinical supervision to further develop your skills and grow your experience
6. Contribute to quality and research project
7. Be part of an inclusive and collaborative team
AHA G2/3 Positions Now Available:
8. Part-time, Ongoing (19 hours per week)
9. Full time, Fixed Term (Parental leave)

About You
A talented AHA, you take pride in working collaboratively with a range of stakeholders to provide current evidence-based practice for patients accessing care through the inpatient and community-based setting.
