About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate individual to fill a Disability Support Worker position.
This role involves providing support to individuals with disabilities, enabling them to live independently and fulfilling lives.
* Key responsibilities include:
* Daily Living Activities: Assist with personal care and household management tasks.
* Mobility and Transfers: Provide support for mobility and transfers as required.
* Social Inclusion: Participate in recreational activities and promote social inclusion for our clients.
To be successful in this role, you will require:
* Experience: 6+ months experience working in disability or mental health support is essential.
* Qualifications: Cert III / IV in Aged Care, Individual Support, or Nursing (or equivalent) is preferred.
* Certifications: Valid First Aid & CPR certification and NDIS Worker Screening & WWCC clearance are mandatory.
* Transportation: Possession of a driver's license and own car (for travel to appointments) is an advantage.
* Police Check: Willingness to undergo a police check is a requirement.
