About Our Client
Our leading global mining and resource client is Australia's largest producer and supplier of seaborne metallurgical coal. With over 100 years of operation within Australia, they mine metallurgical coal across seven sites within their Queensland Operations in the Bowen Basin with with local, DIDO and FIFO opportunities available.
What you will be Doing
Reporting to the Superintendent Contractor Management, you will manage end-to-end contractor management activities to ensure compliance with Queensland legislative requirements and strategic objectives. This role is based on-site at Caval Ridge Mine.
* Manage contract lifecycle activities ensuring compliance and service delivery
* Act as the single point of contact for contractor management
* Maintain accurate records of all contract-related correspondence and documentation
* Resolve contract-related issues internally and externally
* Oversee onboarding, offboarding, audits, and contractor meetings
* Communicate contract-related information to stakeholders
* Develop and implement improvement projects (BOS routines)
* Support stakeholders with Contractor Management systems and requirements
* Provide reporting and guidance on SHMP and improvement opportunities
* Participate in field leadership activities
What you will need
* Demonstrated experience in contractor management or similar roles
* Knowledge of Queensland Mining Act and Regulations
* Experience with Contractor Management Systems (Intelics, iAuditor)
* Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment with high attention to detail and excellent communication skills
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
* SAP experience and audit facilitation highly desirable
* Current Coal board Medical and Standard 11
