With a clear growth mandate, the business is respected by industry peers for its global supply-chain and production standards. Well positioned to capitalise on this competitive advantage and as part of its strategic agenda, the group now plans to appoint a Brisbane-based People and Culture Manager, to drive relationships and optimal performance.
About the Opportunity:
This is a significant hands-on opportunity to contribute to the group by establishing and maintaining trusted relationships across the business. Reporting to the CEO, the People and Culture Manager will drive internal functions such as recruitment, onboarding, culture / team dynamics, performance appraisals, employee welfare, traineeship management, payroll oversight and HR policy. Stakeholders will be the executive team and the operational farming teams – who are located in multiple sites across Australia. To maintain stakeholder relationships nationally, this role requires some planned travel.
Skills & Experience:
To be considered for this opportunity, candidates will ideally possess the following:
* A successful track record of success in human resources management.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Current working knowledge of human resources legislation.
* Empathy, adaptive and positive stakeholder management skills.
* Some exposure to business transformation.
* Proven project management, planning and HR systems experience.
* An affinity for regional Australia.
