About The Role
As a Business Sales Executive, you'll play a pivotal role in driving customer retention and growth within the commercial and industrial market segments. This position combines strategic planning with hands-on sales execution, focusing on retaining existing customers, cultivating new business opportunities, and expanding ActewAGL's footprint in innovative energy solutions such as electric vehicle charging infrastructure. You'll work closely with senior leadership and industry partners to deliver exceptional outcomes that support ActewAGL's vision for a cleaner, smarter energy future.
Within The Role, You Would Be Responsible For
* Proactively retaining existing customers and cultivating new business within the commercial and industrial segment.
* Identifying and converting opportunities in emerging energy solutions, including EV charging infrastructure and other innovative products.
* Managing end-to-end tender processes to secure customer retention and acquisition.
* Achieving sales targets for retention and new business, contributing to revenue and margin growth.
* Driving cross-selling opportunities across energy solutions.
* Maintaining accurate reporting on sales pipeline, performance benchmarks, and team progress.
* Representing ActewAGL at industry events, networking functions, and forums to build strong relationships and advocate for the brand.

The Right Candidate Will Have
* Experience in corporate sales, preferably with sales account management experience, ideally within the energy services and solutions sector
* Proven relationship, networking and negotiation skills
* The ability to articulate knowledge about products, services and value proposition to prospects
* Demonstrated success in being able to conceptualise commercial variables and be comfortable working with ambiguity
* Superior negotiation abilities along with strong oral and written skills.
* Specific industry experience is highly desirable, but not essential.
