We are seeking a dynamic Accounts Payable Officer to join our WA Finance team at our Corporate Office in West Perth. Reporting to the Accounts Payable Supervisor, this is the perfect opportunity for a recent graduate or student nearing completion of their studies who is looking to build a strong foundation in finance within a supportive, high-performing team in the aged care sector.
About the Role
This is a fast-paced, hands-on role where you will be responsible for processing of supplier invoices, while monitoring daily cash flow and completing bank reconciliations and preparing weekly payment batches. You will work closely with internal stakeholders, suppliers, Financial Controllers, and home-based teams, requiring strong communication skills and the ability to manage competing priorities on a day-to-day basis.
Your key responsibilities will include:
* Processing daily vendor invoices
* Completing daily bank reconciliations
* Managing daily accounts payable inbox
* Preparing and processing weekly payments

What You'll Bring
* Currently studying or recently completed a qualification in Accounting, Finance or a related field
* Strong interest in developing a career in finance and accounts
* High attention to detail with strong numerical and analytical skills
* Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritise effectively, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
* Strong organisational skills and a proactive, can-do attitude
* Ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively within a team
* National Police Clearance (obtained within the last six months)
* Evidence of 2025 Influenza vaccination (or willingness to obtain)
