The role
Wiswa Group Pty Ltd is a Sydney-based transport and logistics service provider specializing in structured, route-based delivery operations for commercial clients across New South Wales. Due to continued business growth, increasing service demand, and expansion of our delivery operations, we are seeking a qualified and experienced Fleet Manager to oversee and manage our transport fleet and logistics coordination functions.
Role Overview
The Fleet Manager will be responsible for managing a fleet of company vehicles and coordinating a network of subcontractor drivers to ensure efficient, compliant, and reliable delivery services. This role is critical to maintaining operational performance and meeting contractual service obligations.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Organise and manage the procurement, maintenance, and utilisation of company vehicles, equipment, and fuel
- Plan, implement, and monitor transportation schedules to meet client delivery requirements
- Coordinate and supervise a team of approximately 15 subcontractor drivers, including allocation of routes and performance oversight
- Liaise with commercial clients to determine service requirements and ensure customer satisfaction
- Ensure goods are transported and handled in accordance with quality assurance standards
- Maintain accurate operational records and prepare reports on fleet performance and logistics activities to the Management
- Monitor compliance with workplace health and safety regulations and relevant transport legislation
- Manage operational issues, including delays, service disruptions, and client enquiries
Requirements
- A relevant qualification at AQF Diploma level or higher in logistics, transport management, or a related field; or
- At least one year of relevant full-time work experience in fleet management, transport operations, or logistics coordination
Additional Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience managing vehicle fleets and delivery operations
- Solid knowledge of transport compliance, safety regulations, and operational procedures
- Proven ability to coordinate drivers and manage logistics scheduling
- Strong organisational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication skills and ability to liaise with clients and stakeholders

Pay: $85,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
