Financial Operations Manager
The role of a Financial Operations Manager involves overseeing day-to-day financial activities, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
* They are responsible for recording and processing monthly journals and transactions, as well as accurately capturing all accounts receivable, payable, and cash book entries.
* A key aspect of the job is preparing and lodging BAS, PAYG, and superannuation.
* Liaising with payroll service providers for weekly/monthly processing and record in the general ledger is also a critical responsibility.
* Additionally, they perform monthly general ledger reconciliations and assist with month-end and year-end reporting, including liaising with external accountants/auditors.
* Maintaining the Fixed Asset Register is an essential duty.
* Effective management of cash flow and monitoring operational expenditure are also required.
* The Financial Operations Manager supports management with financial reporting, forecasting, and budgeting.
Required Skills:
