Deliver evidence-based therapy for speech, language, fluency, voice, and social communication. Provide intervention for swallowing and feeding difficulties across age groups. Develop and implement augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) systems for clients with complex communication needs. Collaborate with occupational therapists, psychologists, behaviour practitioners, and support coordinators to deliver holistic care. Contribute to functional and comprehensive assessments for NDIS reporting and funding purposes. Provide education, training, and resources to families, carers, and support staff to promote skill generalisation. Relevant professional qualifications and registration (e.g., Speech Pathology Australia) Passion for helping people improve their communication and swallowing abilities. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to engage effectively with clients, families, and the team. Empathy and patience to build rapport with clients across all ages. Creative and flexible thinking to adapt therapy approaches to individual client needs. Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently, balancing clinical and administrative tasks. Current Working With Children Checks, Police Clearance, and other required certifications such as First Aid and Professional Indemnity Insurance.
