About the opportunity This role works in conjuncation with the Seniors in Medical to provide high level clinical leadership for the occupational therapists working on medical floor incorporating clinical supervision and education. The role will rotate through the Senior roles within the Medical area, these include: Neurology/Stroke, Dementia/Behavioural, Geriatric Evaluaiton and Elderly Care. You will be working in a supportive and friendly department where autonomy and innovation are highly valued, and ongoing learning and professional development opportunities are encouraged and supported. The role is part of multi-disciplinary team providing patient centred care in line with the organisational values and strategic directions. The team is responsible for the provision of high-level clinical services for patients who have been discharged from hospital and require post-discharge follow-up. Proof of this endorsement must be provided prior to the commencement of duty. * Roster: This position is required to work on weekends on a rostered basis through the Department's Weekend Service. * This is a Vaccine Preventable Disease (VPD) risk role.
