About Our Client
Our client is a well-established scaffolding and access solutions provider supporting major commercial, civil and industrial projects across NSW. Their Newcastle yard plays a key role in preparing and maintaining equipment for multiple work sites, with a strong focus on safety and efficiency.
What You Will Be Doing
Loading and unloading scaffolding components from trucks and trailersSafely operating a forklift truck (LF licence) within the yardSorting, stacking and storing materials in designated areasCleaning, inspecting and maintaining scaffold partsAssisting with equipment preparation for upcoming projectsOperating basic yard tools and equipmentFollowing all site safety procedures and keeping work areas organisedSupporting scaffolders and trades when requiredGeneral labouring duties as directed by the site supervisor or yard managerFrequent transitions between forklift operation and manual labour tasks
What You Will Need
LF Forklift Licence (mandatory)NSW Drivers LicencePrevious experience in a yard, labouring or construction support role (preferred)Ability to perform repetitive manual handling and lifting (2025kg items)Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditionsStrong work ethic, reliability and good communication skillsSafety-focused attitude
