Business Partner Role
The role of Business Partner is crucial in driving talent management and development within the organization. As a key member of the business team, you will collaborate with stakeholders to achieve this goal.
To drive business growth, you will focus on improving and facilitating various HR programs/processes in line with business priorities.
Key responsibilities include:
* Coaching and advising business leaders and teams on all related people matters.
* Determining the right workforce model or structure to deliver business priorities.
* Working with business leaders to develop individual development plans (IDPs) and succession plans for upcoming and existing talent.
* Strengthening the evaluation system to ensure high-quality staff are hired and retained, and conducting evaluations to meet global standards.
* Collaborating with business leaders on engagement activities and providing recommendations on people solutions.
* Managing complex employee relations (ER)/industrial relations (IR) cases escalated via the HR Hub team together with the ER team.
* Supporting store business leaders to provide necessary resources for effective business operations during peak and non-peak seasons.
* Identifying people-related gaps impacting business performance, conducting research, and providing recommendations for improvement.
* Recommending and implementing talent retention initiatives.
Experience, knowledge, and skills required:
* Minimum 5 years' experience as an HR generalist in the retail industry, focusing on talent development, culture, and change management.
* Working knowledge of multiple HR disciplines, including compensation practices, organizational diagnosis, diversity, performance management, and employment laws.
* Prior retail experience is desirable.
* Experience with Workday and/or other human resource information systems (HRIS).
* Qualification in Human Resources management and/or psychology.
* Knowledge of ER-related studies.
* Business partnering and influencing skills.
