Home Care Worker Job
We are seeking an experienced Home Care Worker to join our team in the St Kilda area. As a Home Care Worker, you will be responsible for providing home help services and personal care services to our aged care clients.
Responsibilities:
* General housekeeping: cleaning, mopping, vacuuming floors, washing, folding and ironing laundry, meal preparation and grocery shopping.
* Personal care: getting clients out of bed, showered and dressed for the day; assisting with mobility and therapy goals; providing complex care for customers with high care needs such as dementia; providing social and emotional support; providing the client with transport to lifestyle activities or appointments; helping the family carer to have a break or an opportunity to do other things.
Requirements:
* A valid Australian Driver's Licence and your own insured, roadworthy vehicle.
* 3 months or more experience in a similar role.
