The Project Engineer will work within a team demonstrating their proven technical, project delivery and superior customer service skills.
The role will require working across ITIL disciplines, Incident / Problem Management, Configuration Management, Change Management, Release Management and Project implementation and stakeholder management.
Job Tasks & Responsibilities
Delivering projects from solution design through to implementation
Cloud Services – Primarily Microsoft Azure, Office 365 and proven exp. on large scale migration projects essential
Delivering infrastructure projects autonomously and / or within a team (Active Directory and Exchange Server upgrades and deployments, Archiving, SAN deployments, VMware upgrades and deployments, Veeam, Anti-Virus, Office 365 Migrations)
Networking – ADSL, Fibre Network turn ups and troubleshooting, LAN Cabling, VLAN's
Security – In-depth knowledgePalo Alto & WatchGuard firewalls
Toolsets – Kaseya, ConnectWise, IT Glue
ITIL Service Management certification
Supporting clients to resolve high level IT issues escalated by helpdesk in a timely and professional manner
Validating and assisting in the maintenance of the client's risk and issues registers
Working closely with technical leads on other knowledge domains
Administering and Maintaining a range of networks and systems & providing network and systems guidance and support to key clients
Assisting the sales team with hardware specifications, quoting and technical solutions
Resolving Level 3 helpdesk complex IT issues
Coaching junior engineers as / when required on the job
In Addition
Abilty to provide Pre-Sales support and Consulting – Client facing
Project Management skills / experience shall be looked upon favourably
Proven delivery of high quality Project Proposals, AsBuilts and Handover documentation
Experience working for MSP
Experience working with Microsoft / vendor portals & ability to translate service / licensing pricing for new opportunities

Requirements
Excellent client service skills, communication skills and will be a reliable, professionalindividual
IT experience in multi-server, multi-site, multi-domain environments
Pre-sales / Lead projects delivery - ability to hancle client discussions & solutions
At-least 5+ years' experience in medium size company & supporting systems infrastructure (Systems, Storage, Virtualisation)
Tertiary qualification and Industry certification– IT, Engineering Degree, or equivalent experience.
MCITP, MCSE, VCP, CCA
Strong Experience (and preferably certifications) in VMware, Microsoft Server Suite of products.
Must have a full Driver's License and their own car to attend client sites
