Overview
We are looking for friendly, community minded people to drive our Rockingham Connect Community Transport Service clients on various outings, including shopping centres and social outings. Our clients do not have access to other forms of transport, so it is important we provide a friendly, safe and reliable service to help them stay connected to their community. All clients are located within the City of Rockingham as are all of our regular destinations.
Responsibilities
* Drive Rockingham Connect Community Transport Service clients on outings (e.g., shopping centres and social outings).
* Provide a friendly, safe and reliable transport service to help clients stay connected to their community.
* Operate shifts as scheduled, typically 2–3 hours, with some shifts between 8:00 and 17:00.
* Utilize two Toyota Hiaces with automatic transmission and GPS to support services.
Qualifications
* Current C class drivers licence.
* Passion for helping people and community-focused approach.
* Must be a City of Rockingham resident.
Time and Work Details
* Locations: all client sites and regular destinations are within the City of Rockingham.
* Time Required: shifts are 2–3 hours; days to be confirmed.
* Commitment: Regular – more than 6 months.
* Type of Work: Driving & Transportation.
* Training: Induction and on-the-job training.
* Shifts: Monday to Friday, 8am–5pm; meal allowance available for longer shifts.
