About this role:
* We are seeking a skilled professional to develop and manage service delivery schedules, leading planning activities and liaising with stakeholders.
* This includes maintaining and delivering ship maintenance schedules that support Defence capability, as well as developing and managing integrated maintenance programs and Ship Maintenance Availability schedules.
* The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the Target Budget Estimate (TBE) process and negotiating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment and delivery.
This is an exciting opportunity for a Project Scheduler to join our team in Cairns. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in scheduling tools such as Microsoft Project, Primavera and Open Plan Professional (OPP), and excellent communication, stakeholder engagement and analytical skills.
Key Responsibilities
* Maintain and deliver ship maintenance schedules that support Defence capability
* Develop and manage service delivery schedules, including integrated maintenance programs and Ship Maintenance Availability schedules
* Lead planning activities, including the Target Budget Estimate (TBE) process
* Liaise and negotiate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment and delivery
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Proven experience as a Scheduler in either an Australian Defence or commercial environment
* Strong proficiency in scheduling tools such as Microsoft Project, Primavera and Open Plan Professional (OPP)
* Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement and analytical skills
