About the role
NQES Industries Pty Ltd is seeking passionate and hardworking Civil Construction Labourers to join our team in Mount Isa and out of town projects in QLD. This is a casual role. As a Civil Labourer, you will play a vital part in supporting our construction and infrastructure projects, contributing to the growth and development of the local community.
What you'll be doing
1. Assisting with a variety of construction and civil works tasks, including site preparation, excavation, concrete work, and general manual labour
2. Operating hand tools and light equipment safely and effectively
3. Adhering to all workplace health and safety standards and procedures
4. Collaborating with the wider construction team to ensure project deadlines are met
5. Maintaining a clean and organised work environment
What we're looking for
1. Previous experience as a Civil Labourer or in a similar construction role desirable but not essential.
2. Ability to perform physical, manual labour tasks in a safe and efficient manner.
3. Good communication and teamwork skills.
4. White Card is a must.
5. Australian work rights are required for this position.
6. Commitment to workplace health and safety
7. Willingness to work in out-of-town jobs, remote outdoor in hot environments.
