This is a Temporary Full‐Time opportunity (38 hours per week) reporting directly to the Head of People and Culture and will work onsite at our Blackburn location.
Job Description

You'll make a difference in this role by:
* Delivering high‐quality administrative support to the People & Culture function and ongoing HR support to NextSense staff
* Partnering with People Managers and P&C Business Partners to provide comprehensive generalist support
* Supporting the entire employee lifecycle including recruitment and selection, induction, professional development and training, employee engagement initiatives and managing exits
* Coordinating the NextSense volunteer program and student placements
* Responding to transactional needs of the organisation, maintaining employee records and compliance requirements, conducting data analysis and generating reports as required
* Supporting the implementation of a new HRIS
Desired Skills and Experience
About You:
* 1‐2 years experience in a similar role or 2‐3 years experience in a Human Resources Administrative role
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Strong attention to detail and desire to take initiative
* Excellent interpersonal skills
* Ability to actively liaise and engage with internal and external stakeholders
* Ability to handle multiple competing priorities, meet deadlines and drive tasks to completion
* Exceptional time management skills
* A verified NSW Working With Children Check and criminal record check
* Passion, patience, and responsiveness are essential in this position as well as an eagerness to learn, and most importantly, an enjoyment of working with people
* Bachelor's degree or certification in Human Resources, Commerce, Business or a related field
* Familiarity with recruitment software (e.g. SEEK, LinkedIn Recruiter)
* Prior experience implementing or using a Human Resources Information System (HRIS)
* General understanding of the Australian industrial landscape, Fair Work Act, enterprise agreement interpretation and workplace health and safety
