ABOUT THE ROLE
* Full Time Fixed Term until January 2026
* Band 4: $70,379 per annum + 12% superannuation

We are seeking a reliable and customer focused Service Desk Officer to join our innovative Digital & Technology team. The successful candidate will take pride in their work and make a valuable contribution to supporting Council staff across all locations.

If you're looking for variety, this role is for you. Engaging, interacting and providing exceptional customer service to colleagues across the whole organisation, you will be the first point of contact for technology support queries including:

* Providing outstanding customer service
* Support for staff devices and corporate equipment
* Managing and maintaining the Service Desk, including resolving, triaging and escalating calls and service request tickets as appropriate
* Looking after Council's mobile phone fleet and accessories
* Onboarding, training and induction of staff to Councils' corporate network and operations
* Monitoring customer satisfaction levels
* Maintaining accurate IT documentation
* A commitment to support and engage in sustainable improvement in customer service and associated Service Desk processes
ABOUT YOU

To be considered for this role you will:

* Enjoy working and interacting with a wide range of people and get a buzz from solving people's issues.
* Have experience in a customer service and administration role and/or a certificate in business administration.
* Have strong communication and administrative skills, high work ethic, are curious and open to taking on a challenge.
* Be a good administrator, organised with attention to detail, able to communicate effectively over the phone and email.
* Have demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment.
* IT qualifications and experience welcome but not a pre-requisite
