**About the Role**:
Customer Service and Safety are our priorities and the driving force behind our vision and values. With more and more people relocating across the country and the globe, our teams are working harder than ever. To ensure we deliver the best customer experience, we are investing in our people through training and development. To head up this function, we are looking for a National Training Manager to create a long term Training Framework for staff onboarding, training and ongoing development.
Along with this, some of the other exciting initiatives you will be responsible for are:
- Map out role specific training that extends beyond refresher or change management and works towards upskilling and succession
- Source and implement an LMS for long term Kent staff Training and Development
- Review current induction and onboarding content and delivery onsite and remote
- Facilitate our onboarding platform (Enboarder) and introduce L&D workflows
- Oversee the creating, implementation and delivery of the Kent Academy focusing specifically on blue collar traineeships
- Future proof our workforce through audits and gap analysis to establish a training and capability matrix
- Create and implement suggested enhancements and modifications to programs/content
Please note this role is remote but there will be an expectation of travel when required
**About you**:
You will have previous experience with management of employee training and development programs and a passion for continuous improvement and staff development. Collaboration with all staff and management will be a focus of this key role within the business to ensure effectiveness of this initiative.
What we hope you have:
- Minimum 2 years experience as a Training Manager of employee on the job training
- Experience managing blue collar employee training programs
- Experience in LMS implementation and managing content creation
- Experience managing Training staff
- Highly proficient in Microsoft office suite
- Strong relationship building skills including negotiation and conflict resolution
- Good with numbers as this role has finance responsibilities around month's end
