About the role
Eugene's Pizzeria is a lively takeaway and dine in restaurant in East Fremantle. We are seeking a reliable and dedicated team member with at least two years experience as a pizza chef. This is a full-time position requiring strong time management skills, and enthusiasm for quality food and customer service. We pride ourselves in using high quality ingredients and providing a wholesome and enjoyable Italian experience to all our valued customers
This position requires availability to work evenings and weekends to meet our operational needs.
What you'll be doing
1. Prepare and cook a variety of pizzas to our exacting standards
2. Ensure the efficient and timely delivery of orders to our customers
3. Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to all food safety and hygiene regulations
4. Collaborate with the wider kitchen team to optimise workflow and discuss menu development
5. Provide excellent customer service and respond to any queries or request
What we're looking for
1. Minimum 2 years' experience as a pizza chef or similar role in a fast-paced restaurant environment
2. Excellent pizza-making skills, with a keen eye for detail and presentation
3. Strong time management and multitasking abilities to handle a high volume of orders
4. show enthusiasm for developing and enhancing your pizza-making skills and knowledge of food trends
5. Strong Work Ethic, displaying capacity for responsibility
6. Ability to work well in a team and contribute to a positive, customer-focused kitchen culture
7. Food Safety Supervisor certification is required to ensure compliance with food safety regulations but it can be arranged.
8. Australian work rights are required for this position, sorry no sponsorship available.
