D.O.C Group are looking for passionate Pizzaioli, Pizza Chefs and Pizza Cooks to join our kitchen team ! We’re expanding our crew at D.O.C Pizza & Mozzarella Bar and are seeking full-time and part-time team members to join day-to-day operations.

Remuneration is based on prior experience and demonstrated skill level.

About us

D.O.C Group has been a Lygon Street institution since 2002, now proudly grown to six venues across Carlton, Southbank, St Kilda, and Mornington. We continue to expand, and we’re looking for great new additions to join our team and grow with us.

We’re also proud to represent D.O.C on the international stage — returning for our third year at the Australian Open, serving our pizza in teglia (Roman-style pizza by the slice) experience from our purpose-built production kitchen. Team members have the opportunity to participate in this unique, large-scale event as part of our seasonal production and service team — a rare and exciting opportunity!

About the role

Day-to-day operations include:

- Preparing pizza during daily service; tasks include stretching, topping and oven work.
- Experience cooking high-volume pizza in an electric Moretti oven is beneficial.
- Working effectively within a busy, fast-paced team of 3–5 members.
- Preparation of cured meats, cheeses, vegetables, dough, and sauces.
- Providing enthusiastic and unapologetically Italian customer service.
- Maintaining a clean and hygienic workspace and upholding food safety standards.
