The RoleNational Media seeks a creative, proactive and highly organised Marketing Coordinator to join our Melbourne-based Food & Hospitality events portfolio. You will play a pivotal role in bringing together thousands of people face-to-face at Australia's flagship business events.
This is a broad marketing and support role encompassing digital platforms, social media, email marketing, advertising, CRM management, copywriting, event support, general administration and reporting.
This role is ideal for a marketer with around 2 years' experience who's ready to step up and grow their career. We're looking for someone proactive, positive, and ready to thrive as part of a supportive, fun, and collaborative team.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the setup and deployment of marketing emails, including cleaning and uploading of data
- Assist with the management of social media accounts across Linkedin, Instagram & Meta and TikTok, including:
- Working with Social Media Agency to support social media campaign delivery
- Planning/publishing/monitoring communications across social media
- Building social media audiences
- Sourcing and posting campaign messages in key social media groups
- Managing social media profile pages
- Maintain a current and visually appealing website that reflects events brand
- Uploading new content/speakers/seminars to the website
- Ensure all content is up-to-date and accurate
- Ensure that event listings on partner and promotional websites are completed and maintained year round
- Liaise with event and media partners to ensure that all deliverables are actioned on-time
- Build relationships with exhibitors and partners, and ensure that they effectively promote their presence at events
- Manage the marketing inbox and provide ad hoc support to the Campaign Marketing Manager and Head of Marketing
- Assist in the creation and design of marketing content and materials, such as videos, flyers, posters, and brochures
- Utilise Canva to roll-out digital campaign assets, such as social media and email graphics
- Attend events to assist with on-site promotion and marketing efforts (as required)
- Support delegate team in matchmaking and VIP campaigns where necessary
- Ensure that event photography is saved and tagged appropriately
- Assist in the creation and deployment of post-event surveys
- Support the Marketing Team in recording stats, compiling data and performance analysis
To be considered for the role you will ideally have;
- 2 years' marketing experience
- Demonstrated initiative, adaptable and interested in expanding and building marketing career
- A passion to communicate and engage
- Experience in digital marketing/communications
- Knowledge of website and social media platforms
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills
- Experience with Canva or similar tools
- Excellent command of spoken and written English
- High attention to detail, organised and reliable
- Ability to manage multiple priorities
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
- And just as important: a sense of humour, pride in what you do, and a down-to-earth attitude.
