The role of Remuneration and Benefits Manager at a leading institution plays a pivotal part in shaping an organisational culture that puts people at its core. The position involves partnering with various departments to deliver strategic objectives related to workforce management, change, and performance.
* Oversee payroll operations ensuring accuracy, compliance with employment legislation, and strategic alignment.
* Oversight of payroll, employee benefits, remuneration, and data integrity in PeopleSoft HCM, driving governance through auditing, risk assessment, and compliance advisory.
* Timely payroll delivery and team leadership, ensuring high-quality service across the institution, liaising with external stakeholders for regulatory alignment, and collaborating with specialists to uphold a compliant pay environment.
* A senior leader with at least six years' experience in complex organisations.
* Relevant tertiary qualifications in Human Resource Management, Accounting, Business, Commerce, or a related field.
* Deep understanding of payroll operations, compliance, and governance, skilled at interpreting employment legislation, industrial instruments, and organisational policies.
* Manage end-to-end payroll processes and resolve complex discrepancies.
* Strong leadership and team management skills, fostering excellence and accountability.
* High-level expertise in interpreting employment legislation, industrial awards, and enterprise agreements.
* Advanced proficiency with Human Capital Management Systems (e.g., PeopleSoft HCM), data integrity, and reporting.
This is a full-time continuing appointment requiring a deep understanding of payroll operations, compliance, and governance, as well as strong leadership and team management skills.
