Our team is seeking a skilled Motor Mechanic to join our workshop. We are looking for someone with a strong background in automotive maintenance and repair.
This role involves performing scheduled maintenance services, such as oil changes, lubrications, and engine tune-ups, to ensure vehicles run smoothly.
You will be responsible for repairing and replacing worn and defective parts, reassembling mechanical components, and diagnosing faults in engines and parts with the assistance of computers.
Other duties include dismantling and removing engine assemblies, transmissions, steering mechanisms, and other components, checking parts, and reassembling engines and parts following repair.
We also expect you to manage stock reordering and inventory, maintain and manage tools, equipment, and machinery in good condition, deliver outstanding customer service at all times, and adhere fully to regulations relating to pollution and health and safety.
To be successful in this role, you must have completed at least Cert-III in automotive and 1-2 years of full-time work experience as a motor mechanic, hold a current driver's license, and possess a desire to achieve results.
The annual salary for this position is between $70,000 - $75,000 plus superannuation. Only successful candidates will be contacted.
