Accountant
Up to $60.75per hour - Part Time (Flexible Working Arrangement available)
Seeking a motivated accountant to join our team managing the governance and financial reporting for Complete Care Team.
This is a part time role (flexible working arrangement available) average of 12 hours per week but does needs to include Thursdays, based in Blaxland NSW.
You will play an important role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our Financial Reporting & compliance.
Complete Care Team is a purpose driven private Nursing Agency that has a holistic and wellness model of attendant care for people with high support needs, providing a quality home based person-centred service.
Duties include:
* Month end entries, financial reporting, analysis, and reconciliations
* Monitor Cash flow and Debtors Collections; review payroll costs;
* Tax effect accounting entries with guidance from the group finance team
* Present monthly Financial Reports for the CEO/Director and quarterly reports to the CCT Board of Governance
* Consult with CEO/Director, Finance Team and Management Team and relevant stakeholders for financial management.
* Maintaining and improving accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls

Essential criteria:
* Qualifications: CPA, CA, or relevant experience.
* Knowledge:
o Accounting standards and relevant legislation
o Month end reporting and analysis
o Payroll knowledge
o Computer literate.
o Strong excel and reconciliation skills
o Ability to self-manage workload
o Budget projection and planning
* Aptitude to understand CCT financial and operational procedures
* Strong communication skills, highly organised, and excellent attention to detail.

Desirable Criteria
* Audit experience.
* Tax accounting knowledge
* Commercial Financial and/or disability industry experience.
* Xero, Turnpoint & Employment Hero system knowledge or equivalent ideal
* HR experience
