Lead the next major Australian Gold Development
Kalamazoo Resources is entering a defining phase as it advances its 100%-owned 1.44Moz Ashburton Gold Project toward development as a significant new Australian gold operation.
With the Pre-Feasibility Study having just commenced following the completion of a Scoping Study in November ****, we are seeking an experienced executive to step into the role of Chief Executive Officer to assist in continuing to build the corporate, financial and governance platform required to take Kalamazoo Resources from developer to producer.
This role will suit either an established CEO or a high-calibre Chief Operating Officer (COO) / General Manager ready to take the next step into a listed-company CEO position.
Reporting to the Board, the CEO will work closely with the Executive Chairman, Executive Director (Exploration) and Ashburton Project Manager to ensure the Company is well resourced, disciplined and commercially positioned to deliver long-term shareholder value.
Key Responsibilities
Lead day-to-day management of the Company in line with Board direction and governance frameworks
Drive disciplined execution across the Ashburton Gold Project development, alongside the Company's Victorian and Western Australian gold exploration assets, and corporate functions
Support the Executive Chairman in capital raising activities, ensuring the Company is operationally and financially prepared for funding processes
Oversee corporate governance, ASX reporting and announcements, compliance, and continuous disclosure
Provide executive oversight of the Ashburton Project Manager, ensuring clear accountability for project delivery, cost control, and milestone achievement
Provide management and commercial support to exploration programs, with technical direction retained by the Executive Director (Exploration)
About You
Senior leadership experience as a CEO, COO, General Manager or equivalent in mining, resources, or a regulated industry
Strong capability in operational leadership, governance, and stakeholder management
Experience progressing major projects through feasibility, development, or construction readiness
Comfortable operating in a lean, high-accountability ASX-listed environment
Commercial, credible, and execution-focused
Qualifications
Tertiary qualifications in business, finance, engineering, or a related discipline preferred.
Mining sector experience highly advantageous.
