About the role On behalf of our client, we are currently seeking a dedicated, self-driven and highly organized Solid Plasterer to be part of their growing team. You will be responsible for applying, restoring and finishing plaster to concrete, masonry, and rendered surfaces on both new builds and remedial projects. The position focuses on achieving architectural-grade results in surface treatment and texture, in line with the company's quality standards. Duties and Responsibilities Apply coats of plaster, cement, render or similar materials to interior and exterior walls, ceilings, and facades Interpret plans, drawings, and specifications to determine job requirements and finishing styles Mix plastering compounds by hand or using mechanical mixers Perform surface patching, levelling, and finishing for both aesthetic and structural purposes Apply decorative and protective coatings using brushes, rollers, trowels or spray equipment Reproduce natural concrete textures and colour variations when patching visible concrete surfaces Operate and maintain tools and equipment used for solid plastering Erect scaffolding and ensure safe access to elevated work areas when needed Comply with WHS (Work Health and Safety) standards and company safety protocols Coordinate with team members and supervisors to meet timelines and quality expectations Essential Skills Proficiency in solid plastering techniques, including rendering and architectural finishes Ability to match colour and texture on visible concrete and plaster surfaces Strong understanding of construction drawings and finish specifications Eye for detail, precision, and quality workmanship Knowledge of WHS regulations and ability to maintain safe work environments Qualifications needed: Relevant qualification or equivalent relevant work experience Minimum 3 years of work experience in solid plastering, remedial concrete, or similar role Specialisations: Experience in high-end concrete finishing, patching, and textural surface work preferred What We Offer Competitive salary based on experience Opportunities for professional growth and training A supportive and dynamic work environment Work on exciting projects with cutting-edge technology Salary: The role offers a remuneration package ranging from $75,000-$95,000 plus superannuation for a 38-hour work week.
