Are you a seasoned underwriter ready to step up and make your mark? At MECON, we’re passionate about delivering unmatched service and innovative solutions to our clients. We’re looking for a Senior Underwriter who’s driven, relationship-focused, and eager to play a key role in our continued growth.
What you’ll do:
Lead with expertise: Underwrite and process current business and renewals, providing timely, accurate solutions that make a difference.
Build connections: Develop and nurture strong partnerships with brokers and intermediaries, becoming their trusted advisor.
Share your knowledge: Deliver technical advice and training on MECON’s specialist products, supporting both colleagues and clients.
Drive improvement: Champion best practice, continuous improvement, and contribute to a culture of excellence.
What you bring:
Experience: 10+ years in insurance, including 7+ years in underwriting, ideally within the Construction sector.
People skills: Strong communicator, relationship builder, and mentor.
Professionalism: High attention to detail, self‑motivated, and committed to delivering results.
