Job Opportunity: We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst to join our team on a 14-month fixed term contract.
Aurizon is Australias largest rail freight operator, delivering more than 250 million tonnes of Australian commodities across the country. The successful candidate will provide high-quality analytical support and advice to drive business performance and decision-making.
About the Role:
* Provide strategic support to help achieve enterprise objectives.
* Develop and maintain models databases and reports that assess business performance.
* Deliver timely accurate and insightful performance reporting to internal and external stakeholders.
* Evaluate risks develop recommendations and communicate the impact of strategic options and business initiatives.
* Support process improvement and data integrity initiatives that enhance efficiency and business outcomes.
* Build strong relationships with key stakeholders fostering collaboration and knowledge sharing across the business.
Qualifications:
* A relevant tertiary qualification in Supply Chain Business Commerce Economics Data Analytics or related field.
* Advanced analytical problem-solving skills with a strong command of analytical and database tools (e.g. SQL Power BI Excel etc.).
* Demonstrated ability to interpret complex data identify performance drivers and influence outcomes.
* Strong communication relationship management skills with the ability to influence at all levels.
* Proven project management and stakeholder engagement experience.
