**About the Company**

Our client is long established agricultural input manufacturer and distributor with a focus on "Better Crop Production for a Growing Population". They have 50 years of experience in chemical manufacturing and formulation development and a global reach and now have a developing focus specialty hybrid vegetable seeds. They are now looking for a technically experienced person that shares their passion and will support their vision to be recognised as a world class supplier of crop protection products and specialised hybrid vegetable seeds for Australian Growers to join their team.
**About the Role**
This position will lead project work relating to the development and commercialisation of the current horticultural seed business and reports to the National Sales and Marketing Manager. Responsibilities will include:
- Organise and manage seed Trial activities through 3rd parties researchers and farmers including analysing results to understand the outcomes and the impact on strategy
- Lead and conduct market research and analysis both for Domestic and International markets
- Establish and develop relationships with breeding partners and seed suppliers to ensure feedback loops on variety performance and opportunities
- Attend industry events to market and promote the product and the company to prospective customers, clients and partners developing lasting relationships
- Understand and develop biosecurity and shipping requirements for seed importation
- Liaise with existing reseller clients to promote new hybrid seed varieties and their benefits for farmers
- Support the business with developing marketing materials to promote products where appropriate
**About the Person**
- Relevant technical seed experience of a minimum of 5 years
- Tertiary qualifications in Agriculture/Horticulture or similar
- A developed understanding of the sector and its challenges
- Outstanding communication skills
- Natural drive and initiative
- The ability to work productively in a small team
